Unfortunately, the lady taking the picture didn't understand that the more important picture was the one above the mantle. George Riser was a German Shoemaker here in Nauvoo. He and his wife have an interesting story. They came here to check out the prophet, Joseph Smith. Their son, John Jacob, took sick and he was healed by the power of the Priesthood. That made them realize they loved this new religion and they were baptised in a hole cut in the ice in the Mississippi. Baptized in the ice??? You've got to be kidding? I guess you do what you have to do. I think I would have delayed it some. But he obviously got the blessings for his faithfulness.
